- About Corporate Lockdown -

Corporate Lockdown was born on a cold winter’s night. Soon after, the brightest star ever seen appeared in the sky signaling to all of a born son… wait… wrong story. Actually, it was about 112 degrees in Gilbert, Arizona back in 2014 when Carlos, Jeff, Brian, and Sean met at a local bar to discuss their plans on replacing their lead singer who left town for riches in North Carolina. A few names popped into their heads, and those few gave it their best, but just didn’t have ‘it’. A little bird (thanks Wes!) told Carlos that Dutch was between bands, so Carlos made the contact, and the current Corporate Lockdown line up was created.

The name fits the boys well as all five members are part of corporate America. Getting together for the occasional gig, and meeting their thousands (about 50) of friends and followers, takes away the stress of working 8-12 hour days representing many big named companies here in the greater Phoenix metropolis. If that wasn’t enough, they also practice at SER Soundworks (cheap plug) located on Corporate Lane in Chandler, AZ.

No venue is too big or too small for the band. Although they’ve played for over a thousand people in attendance at some major corporate events, bars, and local outdoor festivals, they have also played for many charity events for a few hundred in attendance, such as the WHOO Foundation, various Veteran-based charities, and the Susan G. Komen walk, just to name a few. If there is a need for some good music and great times by all, the band will show up, set up, and play their mix of songs for 2-4 hours (or longer if needed).

Corporate Lockdown’s mix of classic rock and today’s hits (as well as a few surprise dance songs) will fill up your bar or venue with ease! The band is available for bookings either via Facebook (@CorporateLockdown) or via Email (corporatelockdown@gmail.com).

Please feel free to contact us with any questions. We love music, we love performing, and we love conversing with anyone who has similar interests! Peace to all!

Brian Barkley

Johnathan "Dutch" Evertsen

Dutchman is an entertainer to his core! Always shouting sweet sweet sounds, and usually through a pretty bad ass beard. When he isn't tearing it up on stage, John is a Hydration Therapist. He has been singing with the group for 5 years now, and knows how to pull a crowd into the show! In addition to lead vocals, this cat can play a mad tambourine ...and if you ask him real sweet-like, he'll break out the cowbell!

Carlos Barco

Carlos has been pounding and/or slapping the skins since he was 15 years old and has played in numerous classic, metal, country rock bands in Bisbee, Tucson and the greater Phoenix area. He keeps a solid rock beat inspite of many wrist injuries (no comment!). His drumming influences are Neil Pert, Nicko McBrain, and Phil Rudd. He plays a PDP/DW drum kit with Zildjian A/K cymbals, and uses Pro-Mark 747B drum sticks. He loves to play loud resulting in singers and guitarists going deaf!

Brian Barkley

Brian Barkley

Brian "Judge-Shred" Barkley is our sniper. The stone cold killer in the back with the burning desire to melt faces. Having graduated from ASU in 2010 as an engineer, Brian now works for Intel in Chandler, Arizona. He helps build next-gen micro chips with the same calculated precision that he pumps out reality-shattering guitar solos. He is the icing on our metaphorical cake. Damn good icing. Known for wielding a wide assortment of axes, Brian's long time favorites are his SG and Fender played through Marshal and Egnater Amps!

Sean Brady

Sean graduated in 2010 from ASU after having focused a great deal of his life and academic career around music, even as far back as 3rd grade. Having played instruments ranging from piano and percussion to trombone and saxophone, he has finally settled down with the Bass Guitar as his weapon of choice. His influences include the funk styling of Flea from the Chili Peppers, the modern mayhem of Chris Wolstenholme from Muse, and the progressive insanity from Mr. Geddy Lee himself. His current tool of the trade is an Ibanez SR500 Electric Bass running through an Acoustic B200h and B410 stack.

Jeff Jones

Jeff Jones

Jeff Jones provides the experienced foundation that keeps the group grounded. He is an insanely talented musician capable of not only playing any imaginable genre on the keys, but singing while he does it! Often credited with spearheading our pre-1990s covers, Jeff is also notorious for building our most challenging show sets. Jeff's rig consists of a Motif keyboard and a AxiomPro midi board, both powered by a Mac Book Pro.
